This decade, The 00’s will feature exciting tribute to 00’s Boy Bands “TTT”. “TTT” are a 3 piece band from Burnley, Lancashire, who tour the country extensively with a feel-good nostalgia packed set of boy band classic hits from the late 90’s and 00’s. Expect to hear anthems from some of your favourite boy bands such as Take That, Backstreet Boys, N Sync, Westlife, 911, Five, Blue and many more.

The South are back on the road and do what they do best - perform the songs of that great British pop institution, The Beautiful South, to the thousands of fans of these timeless classics.    

The South are an impressive 9 piece band who feature former members of  The Beautiful South including singer Alison Wheeler and lifelong sax player Gaz Birtles. Since Dave Hemingway, the original singer, left the group at the end of 2016, Gaz has moved across to front the band with Alison and taken on vocal duties.

With Mission Nowhere and Dusk who also impressed in the competition this evening is set to be an exciting showcase of some of the best live and local talent the area has to offer.

After the success of our first event, St Mary’s Chambers proudly present a Northern Soul and Motown night. Get your dancing feet ready for a jam packed night of Motown, Up-tempo Sixties Soul and Northern Soul, with a dash of ska and mod for good measure. 

With guest DJ’s including :- Wheeler Barry - (Block 1 soul Club Warrington), Edward Lawford (Northern Soul Train support DJ) and Kieron Woodward (K & D Soul Club Radcliffe) from around the Northwest playing strictly vinyl floor fillers for what promises to be the best party this side of the hills.

THE HOUGHTON WEAVERS, The Northwest’s Premiere Comedy / Folk Group, Stars of Radio and Television, have been entertaining folk for a whopping 50 years!, with their unique blend of popular folk music, humour and audience participation.

Having recently performed as a headline Act at The Great British Folk Festival, their single “Wild Mountain Thyme” appeared in the Heritage Charts Top 40 and is due to appear in an upcoming film, ‘Between Weathers’.  The band has recorded over 30 albums, 23 of which were arranged and produced by Steve Millington.

THE HOUGHTON WEAVERS promise plenty of laughter with their infectious humour and funny stories galore. You’ll hear the old Weavers favourites such as Blackpool Belle, Sit Thi Deawn, Matchstalk Men and Dirty Old Town, together with new songs penned by the lads, original poems and of course some audience requests thrown in to make every show a little different!​

Journey back in time to those carefree days of the 70’s when Scotland’s original boy band ruled the charts. Selling over 300 million albums worldwide, the Bay City Rollers attracted fans of all ages and a phenomenon known as Rollermania swept across the globe.

No longer Yesterday’s Heroes, The Bay City Rollers are back, they are touring and will be turning the whole world tartan!

Special Kinda Madness perform a truly authentic set from each band, combining the phenomenally energetic stage presence of The Specials with the wonderful iconic tunes of the Madness ‘Nutty Boys’. Playing a set from each band and producing a show that will have the audience up and dancing from the off, Special Kinda Madness will have everyone hankering after that exciting era of 2-Tone and ska.

On 21st July 1979 at the Electric Ballroom in London, the Specials played a gig with Madness, Dexy’s Midnight Runners and Selecter. That’s a gig that all 2-Tone rude boys and rude girls would die to see, and thought would never happen. The Specials and Madness on the same bill!

In truth, it will probably never happen now … but you can get the next best thing with Special Kinda Madness!

The Smiths Ltd were formed in Manchester, UK the hometown of The Smiths.
